September 3rd Yearbook orders begin--Early Bird rates through Oct. 15th save $5. Please see Mrs.
Lorenz for details.
September 17th Class Meeting at 10:15 AM at the high school
Items to be discussed:
Our first cookout will be Oct. 18th. The cost is $4. Mr. Carpenter and Mr. Lorson and the class officers will collect the money and sign students up between Sep 18 and Sep.27.
Senior Service Day information. Oct. 16th, see below.
Fall T-shirt orders will be taken through Sept 27th. Cost is $15. See a class officer to order.
Please see a class officer with any ideas you have for class gift, class colors or class motto. These items will be voted on at the next class meeting.
October 16th Raising money for Plain City Holiday Baskets for the needy. Seniors will take pledges for
Bowling at Sawmill Lanes. 9:00AM—12:20PM. Minimum $20 is due by October 11th along
with signed permission slip. Emergency medical form must be on file. We cannot take you
without both of these forms.
October 18th Senior cookout for those students who paid. Occurs during their lunch period only.
October 22nd Class Meeting at 10:15 AM
Items to be discussed:
Mr. McKay will be here to explain graduation announcements and cap and gown orders. He will return during lunch on November 7th , December 11th and on January 15th to collect orders.
Seniors will vote on class motto, class flower and announcement style. If you miss the meeting, please see Mr. Lorson or Mr. Carpenter the following day.
November 7th Mr. McKay will be here during lunch to collect graduation announcements and cap and gown orders.
December 11th Mr. McKay will be here during lunch to collect graduation announcements and cap and gown orders.
December 13th Portraits and Ads for Grads are due. Please see Mrs. Lorenz for details.
January 15th Mr. McKay will be here one more time during lunch to collect graduation announcements and cap and gown orders.
January 17th Yearbook orders are due. Please see Mrs. Lorenz for details.
January 21st --January 31st T-shirt orders for the senior signature shirt will be taken by class officers and Mr. Carpenter and Mr. Lorson.
April 1st-30th Mr. Lorson and Mr. Carpenter will be collecting money and signing up students for the Senior Trip to Cedar Point.
May 8th – Class Meeting right before the cookout. End of year activities will be discussed.
May 8th –Senior Cookout. Periods 5a-5c. There is no cost. Caps and gowns will be distributed to the students.
May 18th Awards Assembly for seniors at 7pm at the high school. (You should receive notice if you need to be present.) Business dress required.
May 20th Senior Trip to Cedar Point. Dress for the weather, and bring spending money as students are responsible for their own meals. Buses will leave the high school at 7 am and return at 10:30 pm. Students not attending the trip will attend school that day. (Ticket must be purchased during April).
May 21st Mandatory Graduation Practice at 10am. A light breakfast is served from 9:30-9:50am. If you work in the morning, let your supervisor know you'll be late. Practice usually lasts until about 11:45am if all cooperate.
May 24th Jonathan Alder Graduation. Seniors should arrive no later than 1:30pm. Graduation begins at 2pm.
