Jonathan Alder Board Meeting capacity limitations have been lifted and visitors are welcome to attend in-person while being mindful of social distancing. Meetings are held throughout the district, please consult the event calendar or Board of Education web page for specific location of each meeting.
Although public participation is not required, the Board of Education recognizes the value to school governance of public comment on educational issues and the importance of allowing members of the public to express themselves on school matters of community interest. The Board will receive public participation in-person from visitors during the public comment portion of the meeting. Meeting minutes are posted on the Board of Education page.
If you intend to address the Board during the public comment portion of a meeting, we ask that you please register this intent upon your arrival. Board Policy #0169.1 allows each statement to be limited to three (3) minutes in duration. All statements shall be directed to the presiding officer; no person may address or question Board members individually. The portion of the meeting during which the participation of the public is invited shall be limited to fifteen (15) minutes, unless extended by a vote of the Board.
