Construction at Canaan Intermediate School continues to make steady progress. Crews are currently preparing for the concrete encasement work, which will protect the underground utilities and infrastructure serving the new addition.

Once this work is complete, crews will finish backfilling and preparing the building pad. This will allow construction to transition into the next major phase, including concrete foundations and preparation for the building’s masonry walls.

As the project moves into these phases, we will begin to see more visible progress as the new addition starts to take shape above ground. The project continues to move forward as planned, and we look forward to sharing additional updates with our community as construction progresses.
