Canaan (PDF Summary)

Construction of the Canaan Middle School addition continues to make great progress and remains on schedule! Masonry work is moving along, with several walls reaching their planned height as crews prepare for structural steel and roof installation. These upcoming phases will bring exciting changes as the new addition begins to take shape, with the goal of having the building enclosed before winter. We look forward to sharing continued progress with our community as this exciting project moves forward!

Planning and design for the new construction project continue to move forward! The district is working closely with construction teams, staff, and administrators to finalize building designs, parking, transportation routes, and athletic facilities to meet the needs of our growing community. Initial site development is anticipated to begin in Spring 2027, with careful planning to minimize disruptions to school operations and activities. We look forward to sharing more updates as this exciting project progresses!
