life skills classroom

Jonathan Alder High School celebrated a significant milestone on Friday, November 7, 2025, by hosting a special Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for its newly renovated Cross Categorical Classroom.

These essential upgrades have greatly enhanced the ability of the administration and teaching team to provide meaningful life skills training and expanded learning opportunities for the students.

The event brought together district leadership, school personnel, and community partners to acknowledge the success of the project. Students practiced their future-ready skills by preparing muffins and coffee to share as a sign of their appreciation. They also shared a few prepared comments reflecting on what the improvements mean to them and their learning experiences.

The administration expressed deep gratitude to the Board of Education, administration, contractors, district employees, and the entire team whose vision, dedication, and support made this project possible.

The Jonathan Alder School District also extends its sincere thanks to the following local vendors for their exceptional work and services:

  • Kuhns Contracting

  • West Jeff Plumbing

  • R & T Yoder Electric

  • Jack's Appliance

The district looks forward to celebrating this exciting milestone together and the expanded opportunities these renovations will bring to the students in the Cross Categorical Classroom.
