Mrs. Blacka has lived in the Jonathan Alder School District since 1997 along with her husband, Jim, and their three sons, Conner, Shane, and Bryan. Being active in the schools' PTOs, levy campaigns, and athletic boosters led to her interest and eventually her pursuit to become a member of the Board of Education.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Capital University, majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics, and has more than 15 years of experience in the Information Technology field. In addition to her interest in education, she enjoys traveling, watching her sons in extracurricular activities, working with craft projects and is a member of Upper Arlington Lutheran Church.
