Jonathan Alder Local Schools hosted Space Day on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Canaan Middle School. Students, families and the local community were able to explore space with hands-on activities, plus demonstrations from COSI and Ohio astronaut, Dr. Don Thomas.
Local news station NBC 4 was on site and covered the event, highlighting Dr. Thomas' experience in space and how he is giving back to the community through these speaking events with students.
