Our kindergarten students at PCES are getting an unforgettable, hands-on learning experience as they explore the life cycle of a chicken! As part of this exciting unit, students have been observing real eggs in an incubator right in their classroom, learning about each stage of development as they eagerly anticipate hatching day.
To make sure they don’t miss a single moment, a live stream of the incubator is displayed on the interactive whiteboard, keeping everyone watching closely for those first tiny cracks in the shells! Adding to the excitement, students also enjoyed a special visit from a real chicken, giving them the opportunity to see and learn up close about these amazing animals. From discussions and observations to hands-on experiences, our kindergarteners are fully immersed in the learning process.
This engaging, real-world experience is bringing science to life in the most memorable way, and we LOVE meeting our newest fluffy friends!
