Message from the Superintendent

Jonathan Alder Families, Staff, and Community,

As we close the 2025-2026 school year, we do so with a deep sense of gratitude and pride, grounded in a year defined by connection, progress, and purpose.

This year, our guiding word has been CONNECT, and it has come to life in meaningful ways across our district. From our classrooms to our community, we have strengthened the bonds between students, families, staff, and stakeholders.  This has been a year marked by thoughtful planning and strong partnership. Every step forward reflects years of intentional preparation, not just for today, but for the next decade. Through long-range enrollment projections, responsible financial decisions made now, and a clear vision for operations, we are intentionally putting the systems and structures in place to ensure the highest level of teaching and learning for every student.

Thanks to the continued support of our community, including the successful passage of the bond issue and earned income tax renewal, we now have clarity in our future learning environments. This clarity allows us to move forward with purpose in our grade configurations, facilities, and teaching and learning structures.

We invested in today in various ways. This year, we strengthened systems of support through improved multi-tier systems of support (MTSS) structures, utilized data to guide instruction, and expanded pathways and enrichment opportunities for our students. The launch of our ELEVATE Pre-Apprenticeship Program stands as a powerful example of this work, providing real-world, hands-on experiences that are already making a lasting impact on our students’ futures.

Our progress is the result of a dedicated leadership team, an engaged and supportive Board of Education, exceptional teachers and staff, and a community that lives out our motto: Value the Past. Invest in Today. Elevate the Future.

Thank you for believing in our district. Thank you for your continued partnership. And thank you for helping us build a future we can all be proud of.

In Gratitude,

James Miller, Ed.D.
