Congratulations to Addison Ranly on being named a 2026 National Merit Finalist and earning a prestigious $2,500 National Merit Scholarship.
Addison’s outstanding academic achievement places her among the top-performing students in the nation. Her PSAT/NMSQT scores ranked in the top one percent of all test takers across the United States, earning her recognition in one of the country’s most competitive academic programs.
The National Merit Scholarship Program began in October 2024 when high school juniors took the PSAT/NMSQT as an initial screening for the competition. More than 16,000 students nationwide were named Semifinalists, representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors. From that group, more than 15,000 students advanced to Finalist standing by meeting rigorous academic standards and program requirements.
National Merit $2,500 Scholarship recipients are selected based on a combination of accomplishments, academic performance, leadership, extracurricular involvement, essays, and recommendations from high school officials.
We are incredibly proud of Addison for this remarkable accomplishment and congratulate her on this well-deserved honor.
