We loved having our 4th and 5th grade families in the building over the past two evenings for our Parent Information Nights! It was fantastic connecting with everyone, answering questions, and sharing everything our students will be diving into this year.

📢 Attention 6th Grade Families: We haven't forgotten about you! We will be hosting a dedicated Camp-specific parent information night later in the school year. Stay tuned for dates and details as we get closer.

Before school on Friday, Sept. 11th, Monroe Elementary welcomed its favorite VIPs for delicious donuts, drinks, and hands-on, space-themed STEM activities. Seeing generations connect over science and sweet treats reminds us how wonderful our school community truly is.

Students in Mrs. Knurek’s class at Jonathan Alder High School recently delivered summer activity kits to Mrs. Miller’s afternoon preschool class at Plain City Elementary as part of their Lead 4 Change service project.

Student-led from start to finish, students brainstormed ideas, collaborated with staff, created bilingual materials, designed a summer activity calendar, and assembled kits for ALL JA preschool students to help families stay connected to learning throughout the summer.

This project is a powerful example of students connecting creativity, leadership, and community to make a lasting impact across our district.

On Monday evening, three JAHS military signees were recognized by the Mayor of Plain City and Village of Plain City, Ohio Council. We are so proud of these students and their commitment to service!

JAHS will also hold a Military Signing Day event after school on Tuesday, May 19th, in the library.
