At its October 14th meeting, the Board of Education reviewed the district’s 2024–2025 State Report Card results, which highlighted a year of strong academic achievement and continued student growth. The district proudly announced an overall rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars, placing it in the highest tier of performance and signifying that it Exceeds state standards.

District leaders expressed immense pride in the collective efforts of the community. "We are extremely proud of our students and staff for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence," said Mrs. Quick, assistant superintendent.


Key Highlights of the 2024-25 State Report Card

The results show the district received top marks across nearly all rated components:

  • Achievement: The district earned a rating of Exceeds state standards in academic achievement. The Performance Index continued its upward trend, reaching 95.9 for the 2024-2025 school year.

  • Progress: The district received Significant evidence that the district exceeded student growth expectations, demonstrating students are making exceptional year-over-year gains.

  • Gap Closing: The district was recognized for making substantial progress in reducing educational disparities, earning a rating that Significantly exceeds state standards in closing educational gaps.

  • Graduation: The district's graduation rate component was rated Exceeds state standards, with a weighted graduation rate of 95.9%.

  • Early Literacy: The district Meets state standards in early literacy for students in kindergarten through third grade (K-3).

  • College, Career, Workforce, and Military Readiness (CCWMR): The component measuring student preparedness for future opportunities Meets state standards.


Focusing on Continued Improvement

While celebrating these successes, the presentation by Mrs. Quick also outlined key areas for targeted future improvements, aligning with the district's Strategic Plan. These focus areas include:

  • Furthering the implementation of the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) across all grades (PK-12).

  • Conducting an audit of the CCWMR component to identify specific strengths and areas of opportunity.

  • Expanding academic offerings, including the addition of College Credit Plus (CCP) courses taught by district teachers.

  • Continuing K-2 Professional Learning on Science of Reading implementation.
