Monroe teachers love learning too! This week we had new learning about fun activities with do with students for the solar eclipse.

Our 4th grade students had the opportunity to visit Tolles this week and learn all about the variety of programs they offer. Thank you Tolles for sharing your programs with our students.

A huge shoutout to Flyer's Pizza!! They donated all of the pizzas for our Monroe Elementary family event tonight.

Monroe Teachers have learning more this week about how to help help our English Learner students in the classroom with some professional development Thank you to Alicia Dyer with Central Ohio ESC for helping us to grow.

Mrs. Yutzy's class was "mining" this week. These first grade students were learning about rocks and minerals, so after reading a story about the topic they used chocolate chip cookies to find "minerals." The best part, of course, was eating the cookies at the end of the activity.

Monroe teachers love to have fun! Today our staff had a charcuterie board contest with our house teams. Each team made their own boards with a theme. Thank you to Mrs. Roberts for organizing the fun!
