We were thrilled to welcome Shelly Roach, Animal Registrar, and Katie Flesch, Assistant Animal Registrar, from the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. They shared all about their careers working behind the scenes at the zoo and what it takes to care for and keep track of the animals.
Our girls were highly engaged, asked thoughtful questions, and loved learning about the many different career paths available in the animal world. 🐾
One fun fact they learned? Golden retrievers actually work alongside cheetah cubs at the zoo to help build their confidence as they grow. How amazing is that?
What a wonderful opportunity to connect career exploration with real-world experiences!

During library guidance lessons with Ms. Allen, students took a career interest survey and then teamed up to create posters showcasing different job fields. We loved seeing their collaboration and creativity as they explored all the possibilities ahead of them! 💡🎨
