Another new face at Monroe Elementary this year is Marissa Downey. Mrs. Downey will be an Intervention Specialist at Monroe Elementary. We are excited to have her as part of the Monroe team!

A special thank you to some Monroe students who started off our district convocation this morning with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Another new face at Monroe Elementary this year is Alicia Shelley! Mrs. Shelley will be working with our Monroe students in the areas of Library and Innovation. We’ve made some exciting changes to library time—students will still enjoy listening to a story and checking out books, but now they will also take part in innovation lessons that spark creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning.

Another new face you will see around Monroe Elementary is Emma Patterson. Miss Patterson will be our new 2nd grade teacher. We are excited for the energy that Miss Patterson is bringing to Monroe.

After hearing from JAHS students about the impact of Agricultural Education & FFA, our district leaders toured the Madison County Fair on July 7th!

They met amazing Alder students who shared their fair roles — from animal care to leadership duties. So proud of their dedication and hard work!
