Welcome to the Jonathan Alder Pioneers Class of 2037!

Jonathan Alder Local Schools is excited to welcome the Class of 2037 in the fall of 2024!  Children who will be 5 years of age on or before August 1, 2024, are eligible for kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year.

We are pleased to offer an all day, everyday kindergarten program for the families of Jonathan Alder.  Families interested in enrolling their child or children in kindergarten may do so beginning at 9 am on February 20, 2024, through an online registration form that will be available on our website.  We strongly encourage families to complete the registration process between February 20 and March 22, 2024, for staffing and planning purposes.  

Once you have completed the online registration form, our registration coordinator, Ashley Rodgers, will reach out to you to set up a verification appointment.  After we have your child fully registered and verified, we will ask you to set up a screening appointment that will take place at your child’s school.  Dates for our Screening Appointments:

• Monroe Elementary - May 28 or 29

• Plain City Elementary - May 30 or 31

If your student is currently enrolled in the Jonathan Alder preschool program for the 2023-24 school year, please contact Ashley Rodgers, Enrollment Coordinator (614-873-5621), before filling out the Kindergarten Registration forms.

• Step 1: Complete Online Registration Forms

  • A link to begin the registration process will be available on this webpage beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.  We strongly encourage families to complete the registration process between February 20 and March 22, 2024, for staffing and planning purposes.  

• Step 2: Complete Verification Appointment with Ashley Rodgers, Enrollment Coordinator

  • Once you have completed your online registration forms, Ashley Rodgers will reach out to you to set up a verification appointment. 

• Step 3: Screening Appointment Sign-Up

  • When your child is completely registered and verified, you will receive an online form to sign up for a screening appointment.  Our screening process will take place at your child’s elementary school on one of the following dates:

    • Monroe Elementary - May 28 or 29

    • Plain City Elementary - May 30 or 31
