Request for Bids

The Jonathan Alder School District Board of Education is soliciting sealed competitive bids from qualified contractors for the removal of athletic infrastructure and site cleanup at Jonathan Alder Junior High School. Contractors must be licensed and bonded. The project will include: demolishing the grandstands, removing lights from light poles, removing light poles, restoring football goalposts, removing scoreboard, and restoring the site. Items demolished or removed from the site shall be hauled off and disposed of properly. Respondents should have experience with public schools. One bid for both labor and materials is requested. The expected budget for this project is $150,000. 

Interested firms may obtain a copy of the RFP directly through Mr. Jordan Lester, Director of Operations, at lesterjo@japioneers.org , 614-873-5621. Proposals must be submitted electronically. Electronic copies shall be submitted to Jordan Lester, Director of Operations at lesterjo@japioneers.org as one PDF file, named with the proposer’s name and the title of the project.  Prevailing wage rates do not apply. Submittals must be received by 12:00 p.m. (EST) on February 13, 2026.   A pre-proposal meeting will be held on February 5, 2026 at 1 pm local time at the District office located at 9200 US Route 42 S. Plain City, OH 43064. Bid opening at the District offices on February 13, 2026 at 12 pm. 

Financial Statement

The financial report of the Jonathan Alder Local School District for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, has been completed. This report is available for inspection at the office of the Treasurer, Jonathan Alder Local School District, 9200 US Route 42 S Plain City, OH 43064.
