Monroe Elementary had an author visit this morning. Mrs. Harris shared her books and information about writing books with our students. Our students really enjoyed her presentation. Thank you PTO for providing this opportunity!

Monroe Elementary had our first after school Spanish Club last night. It was so exciting to see our students learning Spanish! Another exciting part was that several Monroe staff stayed to learn Spanish as well.

On Friday, October 6, the McDonalds on Jefferson Ave. in Plain City will be hosting a fundraiser to help support Jonathan Alder Athletics. To participate in the fundraiser, you MUST order through the McDonalds App on this particular date, and 20% of all proceeds will be donated back to our Department. We appreciate your support of our local McDonalds and their support of our athletes and community.
School pictures are coming home today with Monroe students. Even Waffles, our therapy dog got his picture taken :)
The Mobile Dentist is at Monroe Elementary today. Our students are able to get their teeth cleaned if a parent signed them up.
