Ms. McDaniels' class has been learning about the human body. Yesterday they did a readers theater and identified different parts of the skeletal system. These students are loving what they are learning about.

Thank you to Mr. Shane Hammond with the Pleasant Valley Fire Department. He came to Monroe Elementary this morning to do some teaching with our staff about administering CPR.

Mrs. House and her second grade students are enjoying their new share chair that was built by Mr. Ary for their classroom. The two hard workers of the day got to use the chair at the end of the school day.

Monroe Elementary students created winter decorations for our hallways yesterday as part of their House Team Meeting. Each team had a section of the hallway to decorate. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winning team that will receive points for their House.

Our third grade students had an amazing musical presentation last night! Thank you to Mr. Tarbet for sharing his talents with our students. The third grade students sang and danced to songs from music class that involved rhythm sticks and participation from their family members.
