Congratulations to Mrs. Wiechman! She is our Student Support Specialist for the district. She was the recognized for this month's Excellence in Action Award at the board meeting last night. Mrs. Wiechman does so much to support our Monroe families.

Monroe Staff had a valuable morning before our students arrive at school! We had professional development that focused on supporting English Learners to create an inclusive classroom environment. Alicia Dyer’s sessions are providing some great strategies and insights for our teachers.

We are excited to announce that our Cookie Dough, Gift and Gourmet Food Fundraiser starts Tuesday, October 8th. We will be sending home all of the information with your student. Our goal is to raise as much money as possible so we can fund Field Trips and Playground Equipment. You can help us by getting started Early with online selling and Sharing the Fundraiser.
