Canaan Middle School recently held another exciting CMS Club Day, and our students continue to shine as they explore interests, build skills, and connect their learning to real-world opportunities.
One of the day’s highlights came from Cosmetology Club, where students heard from a guest career speaker who shared firsthand experience from the cosmetology industry. Students were able to ask questions, learn about career pathways, and see how creativity and technical skill come together in this profession.
Meanwhile, Interior Design Club is putting the finishing touches on their final concepts for the upcoming remodel of the office conference room. Their designs reflect thoughtful planning, collaboration, and problem-solving. Families can look forward to seeing the transformation — stay tuned for impressive before-and-after photos.
The Sticker & Stationery Club is shifting from design to production as they prepare for a trip to the High School’s Think Big space. There, students will turn their original concepts into real products, including tote bags and T-shirts. This hands-on experience gives students a chance to see their ideas come to life.
Finally, Fitness Club continues to bring energy and determination to every Club Day. Students have been working hard during sessions and will soon visit a local gym, where they will learn from both the owner and a nutritionist about what it takes to operate a fitness business and support a healthy lifestyle.
CMS Club Days continue to provide students with meaningful, engaging experiences that inspire curiosity and connect learning to future opportunities. We’re proud of all they’re accomplishing!
